Join Dave Johnson, from the Bellevue Fire Department at Bayne Library on Saturday, 8/23/25 at 11:00 am for Hands-only CPR and Quick-stop the Bleed Training.

Hands-Only CPR is a method of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation without giving rescue breathing or mouth-to-mouth breaths. It is only composed of continuous chest compressions of adequate compression rate and depth. This method focuses on maintaining blood flow to the vital organs and brain.

Stop the Bleed training teaches the public how to respond to life-threatening bleeding emergencies before professional help arrives. The training focuses on three key techniques: applying direct pressure, packing a wound, and using a tourniquet.
