Join us on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at 5:30 p.m. for a clothing sewing/mending workshop led by Maria, a local crafter with a love of slow fashion, thrifting, reuse, and repair.
Whether you want it to look low-key or bright and visible, this workshop will teach basics of functional fixes and mends to extend the life of your clothes. There will be an instructor to provide tutorials and guidance, a plethora of material (buttons, fabric scraps, thread), and some example mends to spark your creativity!
Please bring a current project or something you've been meaning to fix - a rip to mend, a hole to patch, or a broken seam to repair.
No experience is required, and all ages interested in sewing are welcome.
